All passes were low at my location. I did receive 3 images this morning, but poor quality. Iā€™m using an Arrow 5 2m/70m yagi, but without a rotator - so the antenna is fixed directly upwards, which is far from ideal,

I need an antenna rotator! Can anyone suggest a ā€˜cheapā€™ az/el rotator solution for my lightweight antenna? Thanks.

In this repo: GitHub - YohanHadji/SuperAntennaz: SuperAntennaz is an Antenna Rotator for Satellite Tracking.

You may try to get your hands on a used SARCTRAC.
They are no longer built due to component supply problems.

Immediately after the SSTV broadcast on October 19, UMKA-1 will take part in the ā€œspace raceā€; the conditions for participation can be read in the topic.

In addition, the UMKA telescope satellite team will send a special eQSL card dedicated to this event.
To receive it, you must send an application by email:

umka1@school29.com

Application form:
Call sign (if you have one)
Name
Surname
The code word you accepted. (For example RACE:T9!rt2rA)
Reception time in UTC.
Date.
QTH-loc.

Applications are accepted from October 19 to 21.
The eQSL is expected to be sent out in early November.

Was the 18:29 transmission in a B/W mode? I got the same picture just after 18:30 and that was in color.
