From October 4 to October 8, 2024, the team of the School Space Telescope project of school No. 29 named after P. I. Zbrodin (Podolsk) reports on the transfer of childrenâs drawings dedicated to the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite PS-1, via the SSTV protocol from the UMKA-1 (RS40S) spacecraft.
SSTV broadcast schedule:
- Start of broadcast: October 04, 2024 at 08:05 UTC.
- End of broadcast: October 08, 2024 at 09:05 UTC.
Format â SSTV Robot 36
Interval between broadcasts 84 seconds (can be adjusted later).
Frequency of the MKA âUMKA-1 (RS40S)â
- 437.625 MHz

Good day.
Just like during the live broadcast.
You will need to play your IQ recording.
You also need to install and run one of the programs for decoding the SSTV signal, for example RX - SSTV (for Windows OS)
Next, configure the sound. For this, you can use the built-in stereo mixer or install a virtual cable (for Windows OS).
Perhaps colleagues will tell you in more detail.

During some flights over Eastern Europe (over the MCC) the transmission may be interrupted for one turn. For updating and checking.

Path obscured for part of pass but pleased to get this image on the 0935/47Z pass over the UK.
Some good elevation passes later in the activation period as well so hope to get more images from those.
