Transporter-18 Rideshare: VSFB SLC-4E : 2026-10-01 18:32 UTC

We have generated a provisional deployment-reference orbit from the OSSIE-D state vector provided at the start of the deployment sequence. The satellite should initially remain very close to the OSSIE-D orbital track, with increasing along-track separation after deployment

Sure? IARU coordination says SF 8.

This means that once OSSIE deployed the DIY SATELLITE deployer, it deployed itself UTNH?

Would it be now a good time to publish the CW beacon format and how to decode the values into something meaningful (if they are not directly human readable) as requested by IARU?:

(..) operators of satellites in the amateur-satellite service must publish full details of their modulation, encoding and telemetry formats and equations before launch.

And how about QSL cards to confirm the requested receptions?

yes is SF10.

Just use the TLE from OSSIE.

We have to keep in mind the object are close to each other still and can be mixed up either as object or as detected fit.

Hello everyone.

As you know (from what i see from other posts) the payload deployment sequence from Ossie has begun. It would be helpful if you could save IQ for SIDLOC. We need observations with at least 2Msps for offline processing. We will give more information of how you can upload the IQs if you don’t have something to host them.

UARX satellites will be added to the network around 06:00 UTC tomorrow.

Greetings!

Unless I am missing it, I don’t see SIDLOC in the satellite list at the top of this thread nor on SatNogs.

Could we please get your downlink frequency, modulation & framing details, baud rate, and any other info needed for reception?

Also, if a sample I/Q or Audio file is available, it’s extremely helpful for us to test our hardware & software configurations to confirm that we are properly setup for a given satellite.

Thanks very much!

Both received over Europe.

Hi Scott,

Some information on SIDLOC (Spacecraft Identification and Localization via broad-spectrum beacons) these are extra transmitters bolted on some of the T18 satellites.

Mayve @sdoukos can give some details on what satellites have a SIDLOC payload.

ERMINAZ-2X on 145.960 is still missing - if anyone wants to listen for it!

[Edit]: Sorry for mixing up -1V and -2V! Corrected…

Regarding SIDLOC, I have no idea if these are the parameters being used on the Transporter-18 sats, but I did see a reference to 435.200 MHz in the repository.

Looking forward to hearing from someone associated w/ the project to find out which sats are equipped with this and what the RX parameters are. Thanks in advance!

And also 9k6 but unable to decode because of already too weak signal near LOS.

No signals from SanoSat-2 and UTNH (also no LoRa 90 minutes earlier on a 5° pass).

Hi everyone!

Orbital Temple was launched on Transporter-18 and deployed today, and it is currently flying very close to HADES and the other satellites released in the same deployment. Since identification in the first days is always tricky, any help from the SatNOGS community to track and receive its signals would be greatly appreciated!

Downlink parameters (LoRa):

  • Frequency: 468.5 MHz
  • SF9, BW 125 kHz, CR 4/7
  • CRC on
  • LDRO off
  • IQ not inverted
  • Explicit header, sync word 0x12, preamble 8

If you manage to receive anything, please share your observation link or raw data here. That will help us confirm which object is ours and refine the TLE.

Happy to answer any questions.

Thanks 73!
