I’ve decided to stop posting SSTV images containing soldiers, tanks and red stars linked to May 9th as a national holiday in some countries. This looks like war propaganda to me and is therefore not compatible with amateur service according to ITU RR 1.56.

What SSTV software did you use? If you use Blackcat, then you can select different modes during reception until you find one that works. I usually record the audio of the signal in SDR#, then play it back into Blackcat and select the announced SSTV mode to force the software into trying to decode that mode, especially if I miss the initial synchronisation signals.

I’m using RX-SSTV. It auto detects the mode.
Sometimes the satellites send in Robot 36 but mostly in Robot 72.
ISS also uses PD120.

Hi…
I’m using the build in satnogs decoder. That’s why.

Hi. There is no diploma program this SSTV broadcast. A diploma program is planned for the summer. On May 10, RS40S UMKA -1 stopped transmitting due to a series of solar flares. The transfer of children’s drawings with astronomical objects has been postponed to May 25-26.

me too, but signal was most of the time too low and with fading.

I was super lucky with the second one. I see your Stratosat-TK1 image in the other thread, I got that one as well. I got 4 transmissions, but only one image came out of it… I had two jpg headers, but for the same picture.

Got now also on a zenith pass “the moon” (Голованковой Арины (9 лет) – “Луна”) in full quality as you did before and additionally near LOS “Ursa Major and Ursa Minor” (Дуровой Варвары (8 лет) – “Большая и Малая медведицы”).

Hi Robert,

Welcome to the community.

If you are using RX-SSTV and want to get rid of the green nebula at the beginning of the images, just switch off AFC.
