Possible, but I havenā€™t seen that image on any websites yet

UMKA has a high pass at my QTH later today, so Iā€™m hoping for a different image!

My 70cm yagi is fixed in position pointing 90 degrees straight up, and the SSTV transmission occurred at a lower elevation - so the image received is very bad :frowning:

ā€¦ and this From Vizard-Meteo at about 2am UTC on 6th May (low elevation, Robot 72 mode). Monitor-4 was transmitting TM bursts but no SSTV.

The Images on 4th and 5th were from the program UMKA from Space.

The silent period of (typically) 3 minutes between SSTV image transmissions is VERY frustrating - a smaller silent period would probably allow reception of more than 1 image per pass. I suspect the transmitter needs to cool down a bit between these image transmissions!

Its a bit infuriating looking at that super strong telemetry signal knowing that it will start transmitting in 3 minutes and by that time the satellite would have moved half the country.

A quicker SSTV mode like Robot36 would be nice aswell.

But hey. Have to take what you get i guess.

Hi all. In the chaos I forgot to leave information here. But Iā€™ll improve.

On May 7 there will be a program in honor of Radio Day.

SSTV Robot 36 mode will be activated

On May 9, 10, 11, 12, it is planned to continue the programs of childrenā€™s drawings ā€œUMKA from Spaceā€.
The transmission will take place in different modes Robot72 and Robot36, the time and intervals will also be different for these modes.

One day there will be a technical break. I will inform you about it in advance.

Great news! Is it only UMKA that is active during these events or are there more satellites involved?

I am only responsible for Umka. And I canā€™t know for sure about the plans of other operators.
But I can notify you about them if I become aware.

For this May 7th SSTV event, there was only a low pass over my location (Laos), so unfortunately I didnā€™t get much of an imageā€¦

@ra3ppy Aleksey, do you know how to apply for the mentioned QSL card for Š£ŠœŠšŠ ŠøŠ· ŠŗŠ¾ŃŠ¼Š¾ŃŠ° (с 4 ŠæŠ¾ 5 and с 9 ŠæŠ¾ 12 Š¼Š°Ń)?
Will that be similar to the diploma for March 16 to 31 event?

Nothing from UMKA except telemetry on two passes. Got a very faint SSTV transmission from Vizard Meteo (57189) but the SNR was too bad to give a decent decode.

Confirming UMKAā€™s passes for 07:3x and 09:1x utc.
