Scheduling has been finished for the next two days, tomorrow I’ll start checking all the updates and do some vetting in order to start generate some orbital data and get some unknown satellites in DB.

UNNE-1B is transmitting at 200 bps but with 1,6 kHz tone spacing what is meant to be used at 800 bps, like HADES-L.

UZ7HO adapted his SoundModem accordingly.

So I was able to afterwards decode 8 packets from the pass 2026-10-03 20:4x UTC.

Andy UZ7HO has created a new sound-modem,

It is for supporting the new ERMINAZ satellites, the software can be downloaded via the following link.

If I have to choose between 3.84 MHz or 1.92 MHz I need the 3.84 MHz ?

Were any of the CubeSats deployed from OSSIE-D able to establish communications? So far, it looks like only the PocketQubes were successful.

I would like to suggest to not schedule CW transmissions on the ERMINAZ mission. From a post-processing view it is ways more efficient to use the GMSK 9600 mode even if there is no native demodulator in SatNOGS yet. It simply makes post-processing the stored audio impossible, because the CW filter does its work and filters most of the signal’s energy. The CW is still decodeable, sometimes even with an eye

Please use GMSK 9600 for future observations of ERMINAZ-2*!

Thanks for any reports - and btw: we’re looking for some more telemetry of ERMINAZ-2V and watch out for ERMINAZ-2X that has not yet been received!

Kudos to all!

Around 436.100 I see strong wide signals ussing Hades-L orbit TLEs. Maybe LoRa signals? Any idea if those signals could come from any sat of Transporter-18?

Could you share an I/Q recording of that? Thanks!

My entire I/Q file from this morning’s pass has finally uploaded and may be found at:

https://www.qsl.net/k/k4kdr//sidloc/

(3M sample rate float-32 centered at 401.500)

… using the ‘analysis’ branch from:

https://gitlab.com/librespacefoundation/sidloc/gr-sidloc/-/tree/analysis?ref_type=heads

… I processed that entire file and the output indicated strong SIDLOC candidates in the section between 606.5 seconds and 610 seconds. A much smaller I/Q (still samp rate = 3M) is also in the above folder as file ’ sidloc_606.5-610.cf32 ’

I would be very curious if my local processing (since I’m not familiar w/ the app) turns out to be an accurate report compared to your look at the I/Q. Thanks!

Hi Fredy,

Sorry for the late reply (Busy last few days).

This does not seem to be CRIMSON-1 as our S-Band is on 2217MHz. Thanks

Anyone interested in testing this?
Still highly experimental and not tested with real hardware right now and under heavy development. Expect things to fail or even not work and a bunch of modifications during the next weeks!

i see yamcs and tx frontend. we can send command to satellites ? wow

To use the digipeater on those satellites you will have to „send commands“

Working ERMINAZ-2x Yaml files can be found at this location.

You can try the IQ files but they don’t seem to have enough SNR.
