Hey!
In station 200, i use v2 board with stepper motors and 48VDC @ 1A as proposed in wiki. I didn’t have any problem with electronics. Also, you can read here more about the rotator and rotator controller.
It seems that the length of stepper motor isn’t 47mm which means less torque.
Step 8 or Rotator 3.1 Worm Gear Issues - #10 by quartapound to make more smooth the gear box.
You must consider that 48V@1A means 48W, so 1.7A at ?V means ?W.
As i remember your problem was with the encoders of DC motor setup.

According to BOM, manufacturer part number is 546-1550WM.
In station 200, i put a wimo x-quad VHF (back mounted) ~1mm away from the rotator.
