Thanks—I’ll give that a try too! I’ll be in touch.
A small video will be useful. Not into coding.
Thank you! Unfortunately, that hasn’t worked for me yet (MPU File not found). I just increased the sampling rate. Could you please post your station.env and docker-compose.yml?
I am preparing a 5 mins video. Please stay tuned. In the meantime:
ea4rku_conf.txt (2.4 KB)
See attachment with docker-compose.yml and station.env
Thank you a lot!!!
I hadn’t set ENABLE_IQ_DUMP and IQ_DUMP_FILENAME… Of course, that’s what you need now. Let’s see if it works now!
Check this out. Sorry for the rush. I hope that you can understand the logic behind. Good luck and keep me posted.
Thank you. Will try this today.
docker works and installed but docker-compose returns command not found. Tried to install the docker-compose with sudo install. Does not work.
Well, this is aimed at using docker-compose. I used a fresh installation of Raspbian for a Raspberry Pi 5. Then, I followed the steps indicated in:
satnogs-client-docker/lsf/LSF-GUIDE.md at main · kng/satnogs-client-docker · GitHub
It should be straight forward.
Congrats!!!
Hi guys! I’ve been struggling with the same issue, but I managed to get it to upload data. Could you help me figure out why I’m getting black images? Is it because the pass was bad, or is the gain too high?
the first one (short) did seem to have a little of an image) the other 2 large dark, is probably night time? I had that the first few times I was trying to get an image its frustrating. Hope it helps.
Cheers

OK, I think I’ll say thanks to EA4RKU for the vide, and go have a play with the Daniel /KNG instruction and the updates in the video I’ll let you know how it goes and if it works share an image.
Thanks for your input James! I’d also be down to testing a raspberry pi image like you suggested. Do you think I should increase the gain or just leave it like that for a couple passes?

Lets see if I managed to get it to work, I know its all going to be dark / black but its a long 30 degree pass so if its going to work the signal should be good, fingers crossed…
OK well a little progress… I had a file permission error and…. being very tight ran out of disk space, so will need to either add a USB drive or buy a bigger SD card for the Pi. will work on this again later tonight and report back.
I noticed my Raspberry Pi is running under-voltage. I ordered a powered usb hub to see if that helps too.
