2 min is doable for sure, right now we don’t have access and once we have, we need to check the satellite, but will definitely put 2 min period in the TODO list
I’ve created an unknown entry for the thrid satellite at ~400.500 MHz to track it.
From @PE0SAT analysis on strf observations:
For the three signals at 400.500:
56195: 400.498
56196: 400.524
56199: 400.500
DEWASAT-2 56180 401.100
ION SCV-010 56192 401.415
BRO-9 56185 401.735
Got it, yes I now see that strf uses the waterfall images! Thank you.
We have not yet made positive identification of Sapling2 from the space-track TLEs, but we are working towards that goal.
Here is our current estimate:
2023-054AN
1 00000U 00000AAA 23110.96742019 .00000000 00000-0 91624-3 0 03
2 00000 97.4172 6.7428 0014378 203.4230 114.0069 15.23129910 00
Investigation the latest observation, one object changed.
56195 400.498183
56196 400.526132
56197 400.500006
TAIFA-1 still undetected, Sateliot-0 same. I see two new green observations for sateliot-0 but it doesn’t seem to be the satellite. Anyone could confirm ?
I’m confirming about sateliot-0, and re-vetted the observations. From sateliot-0 we expect to see something like the image bellow:
With the space-track.org 39 TLE sets being assigned we have some identifications and updates:

There are some new TLE sets from space-track.org for objects that are close to ION SCV-010. I guess D-Orbit has deployed satellites from ION. With a quick search I didn’t find and reference, anyway I’ve moved the status of the related satellites from future to alive and I’ll schedule them. For now I use ION’s TLE set for those as they are still close.
I’ve just noticed that in SpaceX F9 : Transporter-7 Rideshare : VSFB SLC-4E : 15 April 2023 (06:48 UTC) they found out that Alba deployer wasn’t hosted in this launch. So, ROM-2 and MRC-100 are not in this deployment and I’m going to move them to future status again.
EDIT: so from ION SCV-010 we have only VCUB1 with known frequencies to track.
Great news ref. a secondary deployment! Will start looking for VCUB1.
I’ve monitored almost every Vigoride-6 pass but no sign of the LLITED pair on 914.700.
Anyone have info on when they might be deployed? Thanks!
Got a 4rth-hand report that the FM Repeater on INSPIRE-SAT 7 might be enabled. Can anyone confirm either yes or no?
Thanks!
I can answer my own question. Had a high enough pass today to verify that Inspire-Sat 7’s FM repeater is -NOT- enabled at this time.
Unable to make a new post (3 in a row apparently forbidden), so let’s see if I can append to this one…
Time to turn up the effort to receive Disco-1 (and possibly others from Vigoride-6).
Apparently the team has confirmation that Disco-1 has been deployed!
=================
UPDATE: Nothing heard from a 75° pass over the Eastern U.S. 1524utc on 19-May. Hope it wakes up after all this time!
=============================
UPDATE: After all this time, possibly something from LLITED A and/or B today! (30-May-2023)
Forgot to update this thread with the deployment of IRIS-C and its identification as OBJECT AU(56221). There are several successful observations in Network using the known uncoordinated frequency.
According to space-track.org DISCO-1 is also deployed from Vigoride-6.
DB is updated with the latest info from the team, I’ve also scheduled a couple of observations to receive and verify.
Regarding DISCO-1, comparing the following two links:
I see a difference in frequencies, can somebody confirm the operation frequency currently used?
Looking at some STRF observations I don’t see signals on 436.725, 437.050 nor 437.075.
The following SatNOGS observation SatNOGS Network - Observation 7676804 could be DISCO-1 but then the TLE object we follow is wrong.
If somebody can add some information, please do.
Looking at a better observation with the UHF yagi we finally found our mystery signal.
It is CubeSX-Sirius-HSE (47951) that also uses 437.050 MHz.
Going back in time we see three satellites over my groundstation during this observation.
Decoding the data we get
Sorry DISCO-1 team, no signals received (yet)
This looks like TAIFA-1 frequency, I’m going to change the NORAD ID we follow for TAIFA-1 and schedule some obs… the truth is that the signal isn’t GMSK9k6 that we expect from TAIFA-1 but it could be a carrier or sth else.
By the way we have two more satellites deployed from vigoride, VIREO and REVELA. We have reception of VIREO in strf observations of @pe2bz in a changed frequency from the one we expected (it is now fixed in DB). For Revela we don’t have any reception. Both + TAIFA scheduled in Network for verification
