Looking further with the help of ikhnos I also found a match for FORESAIL-1, there we have two objects that are candidates: 52765 and 52766, my suggestion would be 52766 for now.
52739 for Connecta T1.1
52770 for Platform-1
52761 for ION SVC-006
Again these are not identifications just the NORAD IDs we currently follow in DB and Network.
For SPiN-1 and SelfieSat we will need to check which TLE are closer to the current we use so we try to receive them. If anyone from these teams has a suggestion let us know.
For SPiN-1 I’ve chosen to follow 52739 as it is the closer object to Planetum-1 selected object. SPiN-1 and Planetum-1 were deployed together.
For SelfieSat after comparing the latest TLE set of momentus with spacetrack’s TLE sets, there are two objects that are very close, 52759 and 52760. I’ve chosen 52760 to follow for now in DB and Network.
An update for Planetum-1, given this observation SatNOGS Network - Observation 6019512 it seems that 52738 is not the right one. Two other objects fit better for now, 52740 and 52741. I’ve chosen 52740 for DB and Network. Still the TLE sets are in TBA status so they may change before the assignment, when they are assigned we will be more confident and reach identification.
It was my bad… the station I based my analysis didn’t have an accurate location, causing a false doppler effect. The change is reverted and we are now back following 52738 for Planetum-1. Thanks for catching that @PE0SAT!
INFO:
in today’s Connecta T1.1 observation over Ankara/Turkey, the TLE didn’t fit to object 52739 exactly, the team says that the Connecta T1.1 should be in fron of object 52739… The observation started earlier and they got signal even after the object is below the horizon on the set.
About Connect T1.1, from the current objects two are very close and fit well the signals we get. These are:
OBJECT G (52738)
OBJECT H (52739), which is the one we currently follow
Not sure if we expect other TLE sets the next days, currently we have 42 objects from this launch, however there are some issues with deployment from momentus vigoride so it is difficult to say the total of deployed satellites. Let’s wait for a couple of days to see if we have any update and also a better separation.
Object L, 52742, of this launch has been optically observed. As you can see, it is very bright, and thus most likely the upper stage of the rocket. We can be sure it is not one of the cubesats we are looking for. A lot of the other objects also passed the camera, but as expected none where detected.
I saw one pass from some hours ago with AQ, which I believe is the one currently planned. We’re doing some of our own observations to narrow it down right now, not sure if you guys can switch it over to help narrow it down or not.
This is the one currently in the DB, I believe:
I’ve just checked a couple of the latest good observations of Platform-1 with ikhnos and still OBJECT AQ(52770) is best fit. Bellow are the results for OBJECTS AN, AP, AQ and AR, the signal is following the red line, which is what is expected in AQ one:
I’ve changed TLE set with follow for Foresail-1 from OBJECT AL(52766) to OBJECT AK(52765), however both are still close to say for sure.
Also I’ve added a drift (-1.8KHz) on Platform-1 transmitter as it seems that there is a constant one, however this is a calculation from waterfall image so it may not be that accurate.
Using social engineering, found that ION SCV-006 is probably 52761. They use S band for operations and that’s why we don’t receive it anymore on 401.415 MHz.
It seems that there aren’t any newer TLE sets from spacetrack. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to check, so If anyone can confirm that the number of the deployed objects are 42(including the rocket body and stages?) then we can start identifying objects.
EDIT: The list in the first post of this thread may be helpful. Have in mind that some satellites are inside deployers and they haven’t been deployed yet.
I am from SPiN, we are still trying to find SPiN-1, most of the other TLE’s have been identified, the latest update from Celestrack is that there are 4 unidentified objects from the launch, we hope that SPiN-1 is OBJECT-M - https://www.celestrak.com/NORAD/elements/gp.php?INTDES=2022-057 , can more tracking from Satnogs be added? I believe that until now this TLE hasn’t been used for tracking
We are trying to also enable the beacon manually over UK and NZ, so tracking close by to there will help.
