In preparation for this launch I have created gr-satellites specific yaml files that can be found on the following location

For the gr-satellites users, make sure you update to the latest source, the GEOSCAN framing now has a frame length option.

We received the first preliminary TLE for one of the satellites that will be on this launch, these are converted to the SatNOGS temporary NoradID.

@PE0SAT, I have no information about this satellite being on this launch. Last time i checked it should be launched Q1 2025.
Is there any source on this?

I received an email message from Wei BG2BHC

The launch is planned on UTC 4 Nov 2024 23:18 from Vostochny Cosmodrome onboard Soyuz 2.1b. The separation is more than 4 hours after launch, at about 03:36 UTC on 5 Nov

@geoscan Checking LoRa configuration for Polytech Universe-4 and some others. Noticed baud rate is 62500. LoRa cannot do that. Did you mean bandwidth?

If this is bandwidth, then MORDOVIA-IOT and some others have very weird bandwidths. Standard LoRa modules cannot do 50k bandwidth. Did you mean 500k?

Precise configuration is unknown. I set values to create waterfall with enough bandwith to see the signal.
It actually might be better to set them around 125000 baud.

If he mentioned this satellite name (ASRTU-1) then it might be replacing Druzhba ATURK or it was other way around.

I use HalloKepler and HalloKeplerCheck, but these Windows programs are no longer available nor maintained.

In the meantime I am looking for a HalloKepler replacement by using a bash script.
