Heard Sonate-2 for real today
Got a couple of incomplete images from the 1500UTC pass. I think the pass was part way over me but the activation started (predicted AOS 1457UTC) and was dipping low behind building on the second image.

More of the same … Higher MEL pass today so slightly better images than yesterday and more complete but seemed more noise as well. Of course the satellite went almost directly over the apartment building just at the start of the 2nd image so missing the top few lines.

Thanks for heads-up @sleibefehler I’ll give it a try on a couple of the daytime passes over the UK. Looks like reasonable elevation passes but as usual transmission start time is at or after the pass peak at my QTH e.g. my 141xUTC pass on Sunday has AOS/LOS at 1410/1421 while transmission is due to start at 1417 on the schedule so it will be disappearing from view for me. Still that’s what makes it fun / challenging / rewarding to get the images.
I managed to get these 2 images, well 1 and half. As mentioned above the transmission started about half way into the pass over my QTH (theoretical AOS was c1438UTC). While the 1st image is reasonable, the second is only partial as the decode was lost when as the satellite declined (it cut off at about 10deg above horizon). Anyway here’s what I got
