We have a new release for SatNOGS Network, which will be deployed in the next minutes. It comes with several new features, updates and fixes.

Changes:

  • Introduce a new vetting workflow
  • Allow users without station to vet observations through special permission
  • Support GEO and HEO scheduling
  • Filter observations with image(s) in data
  • Filter observations with Transmitter UUID
  • Optimize API views
  • Optimize Site views
  • Add default filters in observations page (show future and last 48h observations)
  • Display all the stations when they are on the same coordinates
  • Move from mapbox-gl to maplibre-gl
  • Update polar_svg.js script to handle edge cases
  • Several minor UI fixes
  • Update and fix documentation generation
  • Remove google analytics
  • Remove POST forms from browsable API
  • Update satnogs.sh refrecsh-requirements.sh scripts
  • Updates on the API schema and docs

There is a known issue for slow loading of observations page. We are working on improve this, I’ll give more updates here when there are changes.

A new quick release (1.106) is now deployed and fix the issue of slow loading of observations page.

One more quick release, 1.107, that fixes some minor bugs in the new vetting process view.
