I am reviewing an observation made by station jp7dvx for the satellite Marina (NORAD 98293, Observation #14570834).
Looking at the decoded text in the Data tab (e.g., repeating sequences and callsign-like strings), I would like to ask if this is the expected telemetry or beacon format for this mission, or if there is any specific documentation on how to interpret these frames.
Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help!
The CW flowgraph needs strong signals to decode properly.
In your linked observation there is only a very (and too) faint CW beacon between 200 and 300 seconds.
By the way, if you like to contribute CW data to Marina’s dashboard, you have to do it manually. Your observation’s data won’t show up on the dashboard.
Thank you very much for the helpful explanation and pointing out the observation example! That makes a lot of sense regarding the signal strength and the manual upload to the dashboard. I appreciate your time and kindness.
