Regarding Observation 14115738 …I am just starting out. I seem to get a few of these (regardless of the satellite concerned) with just the curves either side and no data. Would these be considered good/bad ? insight and guidance welcomed.

second, check the tle information:
we can check that the tle is new and updated, so the signal in waterfall should be a straight line in center (doppler adjusted by satnogs)
three , try browse network and compare the pattern signal with other observations:

and four, i recommend add this feature on your station, to enhanced signal waterfall, and an easy way to proof noise / terrestrial signal on waterfall
