NOAA 15 is having a malfunction similar to last year around October. Thread with details. NOAA-15 October Malfunction
I first noticed the issue when I saw this observation. SatNOGS Network - Observation 8132973
I will be detailing all the information I can find for this occurrence (Start time and such) malfunction in this thread.
The malfunction appears to have started sometime between 2023-09-06 02:49:32 and 2023-09-06 04:46:14 based on the following two observations.
SatNOGS Network - Observation 8130210 Does not feature the malfunction (nor do any observation I have checked before it)
SatNOGS Network - Observation 8130478 Is the next observation with an image file and it shows the malfunction occurring.
The fact that this is occurring around the same time of year is interesting.
It does appear to be occurring before the date I found. Although at the date that I found is when the issue stopped “fixing” it self or from temporary to always happening.
