Thanks for the update, at the moment we are searching for orbit details, if someone has information please share it so we can create preliminary TLE

With some findings for the orbit (~600km at 97.79 deg inclination) and by using this gist here are the calculated TLE:

NOTES:

  1. We are going to use these TLE sets if nothing else provided
  2. Have in mind that these are pre launch TLE, so their accuracy may not be good, don’t use it far away from the launch time (2025-11-26 15:54 UTC) that were calculated for
  3. Satellites will be available for scheduling in Network around the launch time

thank you!

In total 720 observations have been scheduled for the first 24h after deployment of the satellites. We have used the TLE sets of the previous post.

The difference in the number of scheduled observations is based to:

  • Frequency of transmission of the satellite
  • Orbit of the satellite/TLE set
  • Request by or communication with the satellite team
  • Spectrum misuse or violation of regulations

The TLE are probably wrong, not well tested we are checking it and will come back with new ones.

These should be the right TLE sets with the data we have right now about the launch. Probably are not accurate but is the best we have right now, so we are going to move forward with these until we have any other updated:

Hello, I’d like to ask a very basic question.

In this pass where communication with JACK-004 took place

( SatNOGS Network - Observation 12812538 ),

the polar plot shows the satellite passing to the west relative to the ground station.

However, in the plot, it says “Max” is 60°, which is confusing to me.

Does the 60° refer to the azimuth? If so, wouldn’t that mean the satellite should be passing on the right side of the ground station instead?

I would really appreciate it if you could clarify this for me.

Thank you in advance.

The Max value refers to the elevation.
