Will there be more photos? I’m still trying to get a decent picture on my 7el yagi
Of course. We will post schedule this week!
After aurora borealis alarm we wanted to try to capture it on Geoscan-Edelveis. We took a series of images through the night and one of them was this! Amazing!!
And another one, that we were able to capture!
Moving through aurora!

We observed GeoScan-Edelveis this morning with the Dwingeloo telescope. I’m a bit clumsy in getting both of the images out of the data, probably someone else can do a better job at this.
My bad. Coordinates were 80.09, 1.13. You can see Spitsbergen a bit:)

The images from Geoscan are beautiful! Can you share information about the imaging system (sensor and lens)?
It would be great if you could always tell us the latitude and longitude of the photos.
Thank you very much @pethornton ! We have a Ucam-III camera on-board with maximum VGA resolution and default 56° lens. More info about the camera UCAM-III – 4D Systems
Sure. I was quite busy lately adding lat-lon to each photo. But I understand how better image becomes with its coordinates. I’ll do my best to post it
