Hi, what’s the best way to receive a CW signal?

I have an RTL-SDR and an SDRSharp.

Hi I use a program called SDR Console https://www.sdr-radio.com/console

Connect your antenna to the RTL-SDR connect this to your computer then set the frequency of the satellite you wish to receive. You can record this In sdr console.

I also use my Satnogs ground station this is probably the easiest way.

CW beacons: how to receive and read them

You see a CW beacon falling down on your SDR’s waterfall and want to get it decoded (for uploading)? Record the pass in SSB (LSB or USB) [SDR reception] Use the spectrogram view of an audio editor (e. g. ocenaudio) [audio editor] Mark the beginning of the beacon and add the displayed time to the one of the filename (usually the beginning of the record in UTC) to get the timestamp.
