UPMSat-2 object 46276

Hi

I have a question regarding on how to identify a closest object transmitting at the same frequency when passes over a GS.

Observation #7054703 and #7096731 show an object transmitting a wideband signal very close to de UPMSat-2.
So, is there an easy way to check which object have a similar path? Or any software tool to do this calculations?

That is all.
Thanks in advance.

Rafael

This is the usual process:

  1. Find all the satellites that transmit on similar frequency in SatNOGS DB. This can be done in the transmitters page. Here is a list of satellites that transmit ±65.1KHz:

40320, 41603, 43907, 39431, 40968, 39435, 39439, 39440, 32788, 43156, 39446, 43677, 43679, 43681, 39463, 39087, 52148, 41783, 40377, 27844, 38340, 46276, 43721, 47945, 40012, 40014, 37841, 33493, 41558, 52950, 53463, 49017, 33499, 47964, 28895, 47458, 40931, 43880, 38761, 38763, 39153, 53107, 41460, 49396, 46839, 40056, 39417, 41339, 41340

  1. Then you can find the TLE sets at the time of the observations. I usually use space-track.org, for example for the 7096731:

  1. Finally with the TLE list you can use ikhnos and find which of these TLE sets fit the other signal. Have in mind that for fitting exactly at the signal you need to adjust the frequency offset parameter.

Ok, I see.

Thank you for full details!

Found the satellite: UNISAT-7.

Thanks to the help from IDR/UPM team engineer, Juan Bermejo found the the object with in turn the help of ikhnos program.

That satellite it is declined for transmission on amateur satellite service UHF band acording to IARU, but still transmitting.
