Hi, that’s possible. But it’s easier to broadcast using a sequence diagram, specifying the mode, specific pattern, and interval.
Definitely!! Thanks for the answer Aleksey !!
Was able to receive CW from UMKA-1
"In honor of the successful launch of the Space-π satellites (and more) from the UMKA-1 (RS40S) spacecraft from the Vostochny Cosmodrome, a broadcast of children’s drawings is planned for the “UMKA from Space” program in SSTV format.
Just in time for the intervals between the reception of new satellites. After all, the wall of QSL cards won’t fill itself ![]()
Works dedicated to today’s event were specially selected for the broadcast.
Broadcast schedule (UTC):
• Start: 2025-12-28 16:50UTC
• End: 2025-12-29 16:35UTC
December 30 – technical break.
And on December 31st at 00:01 UTC, a New Year’s broadcast of children’s drawings from orbit will begin. It will last… well… not all of January, of course, but it will be quite lengthy.
And yes, it won’t just be drawings. ![]()
There will be something else in early January… but more on that later

Over Coastal North Carolina. Interesting how the first and third images are clear, and the second (right overhead) is static-y.
