Hi! If for some reason you can’t get through to r9al@mail.ru send me a personal message here with your application. I will send your application to Evgeny separately.

I remember sending Evgeniy an email in January but never got a response, also no rejection.

I sent images /qsl request last night via Gmail. Doesn’t seem to have been rejected so far. Will update if/when reply received.

Thanks for the idea. I will see what build plans I can find and have a go.
Might still have a problem with housing reqs - lease bans installing antennas - so will have to be sneaky with use and see if anyone complains. The dipole can be put out of the window and bought back in quickly for passes without neighbours noticing (so far :grinning:)

I just received one message from the email: r9al@mail.ru

Unfortunately, this happens. I try very hard to check my email regularly and respond within a week. But even here I constantly find, for some reason, missed and even unread letters. I recently found 6 applications sent back in May.

Similar reply from Evgeniy for my submission a couple of days ago waiting in my inbox this morning.

My diploma just arrived

The UmKA-1 is currently one of the best satellites for us in the HAM community (lots of QSL card/Diploma events and the team behind the satellite is very interactive and friendly)

It came with a typo in my surname that i was a bit hesitant to report, however i did. And it got fixed within 24 hours. So kudos to the team!

In honor of the 22nd anniversary of the launch of the SO-50 satellite, the team of the UMKA-1 school space telescope, in partnership with the SARS and AMSAT-HZ organizations, has planned to broadcast greeting cards using the SSTV protocol.

Start - December 20 at 00:01 UTC
Completion - December 21 at 00:01 UTC

If the charge level allows, the broadcast can be extended until 17:40 UTC, December 21, after which the satellite will return to performing its main tasks.
The frequency is 437.625 MHz.
Format - SSTV Robot 36
The interval is 114 seconds.
The transmission can be interrupted if necessary without prior notice! (temperature rise, battery discharge, etc.)
