… we have the first mention that I have seen of a satellite planned for Transporter-18 in October 2026.

What’s somewhat unique about the KENSAT mission is that not only do we have downlink & decode info already online, but an entire repository full of spacecraft & comms info.

… which shows us a downlink on 437.080 MHz using 9600 GFSK AX.25 / G3RUH.

Several months away, but it’s never too early when someone puts their documentation online!

Mission profile: a 520 km sun-synchronous orbit, operating UHF amateur radio at 437.08 MHz for beaconing, telemetry downlink, and command uplink. Telemetry — including downlinked inference results — is intentionally unencrypted so amateur operators worldwide can receive and decode it.

cool!

According to kensat.com the mission is to provide an accessible LLM in orbit.
According to its IARU coordination it takes photos.
The owner is KO6IKZ Guan Hao Chan (Ken).
I’ve added the transmitter to the SatNOGS DB entry.
