Transporter-14 Rideshare: Vandenberg SLC-4E: 23 Jun 2025 21:18 UTC

Hello, while I’m vetting observations results from RIDUSAT-1, I found this signal that at first I thought was terestrial based, but then it was showing on atleast 7 stations (the one that I left the vet as unknown), the Doppler correction was off and the signal was at least 10kHz higher.

Maybe a different satellite?

Thanks.

It appears to me to be a signal from FUNCUBE-1

Ah, yep it’s the exact frequency and pattern on the right time when the stations are doing observations.

I’m still new, so not used with various kind of satellite signal and pattern

Thanks!

The presence of music hints at Endurosat, try SoundModem for gaspacs.

Indeed, Vlad.

Also PADRE can be demodulated with the Gaspacs SoundModem. No music this time, but the word Endurosat showed up while decoding in FSK G3RUH mode :grinning:

Does anyone know the names of the -4- satellites on this deployment from Lacuna Space that are collectively referred to as “Call of the Wild”? Thanks!

Very close to a 90° pass here this afternoon but nothing heard from PARUS-T2 on any of the downlink freqs. I even tried the voice repeater uplink just to be sure that wasn’t the only thing active. So unfortunate.

TPA-1 mission team here - can confirm the details and decode look correct. Happy to receive any packets the community might have to hand fill in our trending.

Welcome and nice to hear,

Can you share some information on the frame data?

RIDUSat-1 looks like getting more active on telemetry channel. Hopefully the APRS payload can be activated normally soon :crossed_fingers:.

Still no signs/observation that shown Parus T2 activities for past few days on the network. I tried manual observation with a Yagi on last pass, and found no clear activity on the expected frequency unfortunately.

Pass on 2025-06-27 at around 12:1x UTC

PARUS-2: no signals on UHF

RIDU-Sat 1: signals, also strong ones, but not able to get it decoded.

I looked at a SatNogs observation (SatNOGS Network - Observation 11834734) and checked the strongest packets - also w/ no luck demodulating. But, you can’t do but so much w/ audio.

If anyone has an I/Q file from a strong RIDUSat-1 pass, it may be helpful to try USB demod against the various deframers.

Inspectrum may be helpful also to confirm if it’s even 1200 baud.

While the 145.825 listing for RIDUSat-1 has a good hyperlink to the SatNogs DB page for this object, the link down at the 145.925 listing needs adjustment, I believe.

Thanks Scott,

Changed the link so it points to the SatNOGS db

Nothing but silence on a 63° RIDUSat-1 pass just now… SatNogs Obs. are also showing sterile waterfalls during the same time period. Will have to try again for an I/Q file to determine what the little packets previously seen on 145.925 are.

I also tracked it the two last passes, silence.
I’ll look for at least one more tonight.
