Suggestion for contribution

Hi,
I am Anshul Makkar, experienced in H/W and low level software/ firmware development (15 years exp. www.justkernel.com).
I am looking for space project to contribute. I have searched online, there are quite a few and being new to this area, I am bit lost.
Please can someone suggest or share some helpful links so that I can contribute to right project.

I found Qubik and Cubesat where I should get opportunity to contribute in hardware and low level software… I am going in right direction ? Please suggest.
