Strf, hackrf and sudden mirroring

Trying to figure out why I suddenly have mirrored signals in my strf results from one of the original HackRF sdr’s

The strongest signal (on top) when identified after using M fits 52159 ENMAP exactly but the mirror is on 2272 MHz and the DB says it’s on 2268 MHz. The weaker signal not mirrorred is also matching 52159 but still not on the DB frequency. I am not producing any strong homemade signals which would cause this. But what would be the cause…

Unplugged the unit from USB, re-checked the capture settings, only un-common setting was the use of -F without using any settings which needed the Force command so I removed that. Now started strf again to check

Last 24 hours of strf now show no signs of mirrorring anymore.

so, in the strf from 2025-07-11 arount 05:18 UTC I notice something strange in the plot

Suddenly the noise in the strf appears to mirror.

The strf is running sinde 2025-07-09 so over 48 hours.

In the next plot there is suddenly appearance of mirrored signals again.

I might limit the strf to 24 hrs and restart after that ?

any chance this is temperature (overheating) related as it’s middle of summer ?

Could be very good the issue. I started a 24 V DC fan this afternoon
