Stratosat-TK1 (RS52S) image transmissions

There are images transmitted from Stratosat-TK1 (RS52S) cubesat on 435.870 MHz.

Satellite have two cameras: UCAM-III (same as on Geoscan-Edelveis) and high resolution camera. So there are two formats of image transmission.

Format of UCAM-III (Low resolution, LR) transmission is the same with Geoscan-Edelveis except the first byte in header (02 instead of 01). So geoscan-tools by @SA2KNG can be used with slight changes.
Also GitHub - Foxiks/StratoSat_TK-1_Decoder: StraroSat TK-1 Decoder (Very WIP!) is available by @Foxiks.

Format of High resolution (HR) camera is similar, except for first bytes in header.
02 00 3E 20 98 C0 08 00 (… rest is payload to 64 bytes) - where 3E size after the byte starting from it, 20 98 - indication bytes for transmission, C0 08 00 - offset in little endian (in this example 0x0008C0).

Here are example of images:

Here is schedule of LR transmission in coming days

Sadly no transmissions over Western Europe :frowning: It only passes over me at around 9:30 UTC and 22:40 UTC

Received in KO02od - Poland
After decoding the entire image, the transmission still continues. Soundmodem keeps decoding data packets. What are these packets? Images from the HQ camera?

That is filling data, so transmissions have to be same size. This will be fixed in January

Hi Aleksey,

Nice!
Looks like you’ve got all the data.
In my case I could caught only 877 packets.

Hi and happy new year
I don’t understand, I receive telemetry but no image.
what are the parameters for good decoding (nfm, wfm, usb)?
what is the bandwidth?
Thanks

FM at a minimum of 11 kHz bandwidth, the same settings as for telemetry.
Just match with the schedule above.
