Stop Time Before Start Time Bug

This observation I scheduled has a stop time before its start time:

https://network.satnogs.org/observations/186463/

There is also another observation which overlaps with this one but is the correct start and stop times:

https://network.satnogs.org/observations/186464/

There are a few others that this happened to as well, but without the corresponding correct start/stop time observation:

https://network.satnogs.org/observations/186456/
https://network.satnogs.org/observations/186460/

I think I made all these observations at the same time using the bulk observation tool. Pretty weird.

Thanks for letting us know.

Unfortunately this is a known bug after some updates on group scheduling. I haven’t found a way to reproduce it yet and from source code after a quick look I didn’t find what could cause this.

As I’m going to implement some more changes in the near future for group scheduling, I’ll take a deeper and I’ll try to locate the issue.

Until then feel free to remove these observations or report them to me here or in personal message in order to remove them.

Will do.

Should bugs perhaps be reported somewhere on Github instead of here?

Yes you can report them in https://gitlab.com/librespacefoundation/satnogs/satnogs-network for network.
For the rest of satnogs projects check https://gitlab.com/librespacefoundation/satnogs.

Note: github repos are just mirror of gitlab repos which we use.

filed observations are getting scheduled with end time before start time (#484) · Issues · librespacefoundation / SatNOGS / satnogs-network · GitLab for this. It seems to be happening more and more. Not sure how. @BOCTOK-1 any ideas, you were the one who scheduled the screenshot here:
