STEP CubeLab-II/KSLV-II Launch

So have any of these actually had IARU coordination? It’s sounding like the answer is ‘No’ so far.

It looks like that only SNUGLITE has asked and got IARU coordination.

As expected STEP CubeLab-II is identified as OBJECT D(52897).

@vk5qi
I heard as following from Chosun Univ. There is no need to IARU coordination heard by government.

I will check more

@fredy
Do you know any people about commanding service?

@fredy

Thank you!

I appreciate your and LSF’s effort.

SNUGLITE-II will be deployed after two days.

Frequency : 436.49 MHz
Modulation : GMSK
Rate : 9600 bps
Protocol : AX.25 (NRZ-I, G3RUH)
Transceiver : ISIS VHF/UHF Full Duplex Tranceiver

MIMAN will be deployed after four days.

Frequency : 436.5 MHz
Modulation : GFSK
Framing Format : ASM + GOLAY (NRZ, No Scrambling, MSB)
Rate : 2400 bps
Transceiver Model : GOM Space AX100U

That’s… pretty closely spaced for payloads on one launch.
This is one of the reasons why frequency coordination is important.

Dear Fredy,

Good day! I’m Geuk-Nam Kim in Yonsei University, South Korea.
Now, our CubeSat, MIMAN, is also in orbit.
Would you update the information about MIMAN?

  1. TLE is updated as follows:

MIMAN
1 52900U 22065G 22186.98308958 -.00157148 00000-0 -34950-1 0 9990

  1. In addition, the transmitter configuration is as follows:

  • Transceiver: GomSpace AX100U
  • Frequency: 436.5 MHz
  • Modulation: GFSK

  • Framing format: Mode 5 (ASM+GOLAY)

Thank you for your dedication.
Best Regards,

Dear Fredy,

Thank you for updating the information quickly.
Regarding the transmitter mode,
what is the difference between mode 5 and mode U TLM?

If possible, would you change the transmitter mode to 5?

Thank you,
Geuk-Nam

Mode U in the title means that is in UHF. It has nothing to do with the modulation which is another field in the transmitter form.
