We are thinking about a setup to e.g. receive both AHRPT and APT of the same NOAA satellite.
Is it possible to schedule observations such that they make use of two SDRs but only one observation rotates the rotator?
Sorry if this was asked before or is written somehwere, I haven’t found an answer so far.

Short answer is yes, one of the stations controls the rotor, the other is just along for the ride. The other station doesn’t need any rotator config really, but it is also possible to make it run a dummy rotator.
