Should we upgrade our SatNOGS stations to Docker?

Hi,
have not spending much time here lately as my two stations has been running without any problems for a long time. When I look at the setup instructions I can see that the client is now running as Docker.

There is also a script for upgrading from legacy SatNOGS software.

So my question is: is the recommendation to upgrade our stations to the Docker installation?

Not all feature are available, so check the missing feature table.

Yes, I saw that missing feature table. But if you have a clean install, should you then upgrade to Docker? What is the SatNOGS community recommendations?

I hope someone from the development team will answer that question.

If you are not affected by the missing feature, I suggest you go for it. It will be helpful to verify that transition to the new version and the new version itself works as intended.

OK thanks. I will try with one of my stations later.

Did try the upgrade command but it did not work, getting:

OSError: Could not find a suitable TLS CA certificate bundle, invalid path: /var/lib/satnogs/lib/python3.9/site-packages/certifi/cacert.pem

I think I flash the SD-card from beginning…
