Hello SatNOGS Team, I would like to implement SatNOGS ground station at my end. Could you please let me know whether does it require Rx/Tx licensing or Telecom/Space regulatory permission to receive and transmit through this ground stations? Thanking you.
Unfortunately there isn’t one simple answer to this question as in each country there are different regulations. In several cases building a station for receiving only is easier in license terms and usually with a radio amateur license you are covered, however it depends on the local regulations.
For Tx part things can get complicated not only with the local regulations but also to which satellite you are trying to transmit to if I’m not mistaken.
