I recently got my ground station running again and used this SatNOGS Monitor - SatNOGS Wiki page to install the monitor. I found that the monitor is no longer working per posts here. The monitor is a great demo tool for schools and I was looking forward to using it again. I have tried to do the fork fix, but it didn’t work for me. What are the chances of actually including it in the standard Raspberry Pi image? Sure would be a great addition.

Assuming the pagination issue is fixed/merged.
I have had mixed success in building rust stuff. I do not for a second claim to know much about rust, but it has been a challenge to get it to build from time to time. Like, the Cargo.lock
I don’t understand.
The last method (that I had to come up with as all the previous ones failed) I used was under docker and I just built it from one of the rust-images.
Maybe it’s simpler under a stable debian image rather than oldstable, if the packaged rust can do this then it’s pretty quick I think.
With this track record I’m hesitant to add it to a official build as this will inevitably break.
Maybe it’s possible to build a .deb instead, I’m not sure.
Unfourtenately my skill level is so low that I can only complain. So Sorry. I hope someone with the skill and patience picks this up. It was a great tool.
