Anyway we can better determine if satellite is active or not? Say if there were 10 continuous observations without a signal then it can go inactive? Or do we need to contact the satellite owner? Some satellite do only transmit over their ground station. Others later the battery is dead and maybe we can call it something in between state like “resting” if battery is not fully functioning anymore?
Just want to add nice functionality if you do not get signal then you can do some simple lookup. DK3WN is the best real time satellite active blog, but not even him can keep count of all alive ones?
