I have noticed, that quite often bearings for rising are not corresponding polar plots. On example below satellite rise bearing is indicated as 24°, where it clearly should be somewhere in the region of 190°-200° .
On most occasions calculations seem to be ok, but on rare ones they are quite a bit off. I have noticed that especially for rise and can’t remember if I have seen it for set.
