RamSat last days: Middle school students requesting observations

RamSat (48850) is entering the last three months (estimated) of life. Built by the students at Robertsville Middle School in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and deployed from the ISS last June, RamSat has provided some great images along with a wealth of educational moments. Our first students are now entering STEM programs in college, while the high schoolers are continuing their involvement with the project.

Our projections indicate we have less than three months before reentry. We would appreciate any available efforts from the SatNogs family to capture the RamSat telemetry during this last phase of the project.

Feel free to reach out to me at n1esk1@charter.net, and visit our Google page at RamSat to see the history of the project.

Many thanks, David Andrews, N1ESK
