Paying SatNOGS for their work!

Hello,

My name is Calvin England | LinkedIn. I’m a previous Blue Origin engineer and ever since I was a kid, I wanted to be a rocket scientist. Now, I am CEO and co-founder of a small startup called Dyson Sphere Laboratories | Open Protocols for Space. We are working on a means to make all space services into API integrated infrastructure via a protocol we’ve developed and have open sourced.

I would like to engage with the SatNOGS community and see if there’s room to pilot a demonstration where some folks stand up a receiver, commission it, receive traffic, and get paid for doing it.

I am hoping that this is mutually beneficial enough as to not be flagged or otherwise for being self-promotional. While our marketplace is not mature, we’re starting end-to-end testing of our own receiver and will have an invite-only pre-alpha soon.

Can we at least talk about this in the abstract?
