The TO field is arbitrary. I suggest to use the own locator.
For the VIA field you may choose between WIDE1, WIDE2 or it also should work with BN0TIT. You can also combine it, but for this use case WIDE1 or BN0TIT is ok.
What you send is also arbitrary. The digipeater doesn’t care.
However, it makes sense to keep it short. So “via PARUS-T1” or your locator is just an unnecessary redundancy. Please don’t use the ridiculous “599”.
In other words: no text at all is already sufficient as a CQ call.
While I’ve received 1k2 APRS beacons from PARUS-T1 previously, tonight makes the 3rd pass monitoring both UHF & VHF with nothing heard even on the downlink. (Eastern U.S.)
