I’ve learned that _g0 packets displayed in the data tab are coming from the gr-satellites add-on from SA2KNG and that this decoder decodes live while the standard decoders from SatNOGS (without suffix _g0) decode in intervals.
Example:
data_obs/2026/8/11/3/14753540/data_14753540_2026-08-11T03-32-57 _g0
But why is the gr-satellites decoder 8 seconds ahead of the original time when the packet was sent?
Example observation:
2026-08-11 03:33:16|—|14753540|DL7NDR UHF-Turnstile-JN48ap
2026-08-11 03:33:16|—|14740503|Piszkesteto UHF-JN97ww
2026-08-11 03:33:16|—||JSOC Tower-JN88rh
2026-08-11 03:33:08|—|14753540|DL7NDR UHF-Turnstile-JN48ap
And, is there a way to discard the second decoding since I don’t want to have two entries for the same packet (especially with different time stamps) in the database?
