Observation: TRANSIT 5B-5 (965) - Unique Trace - noise but not local noise?

Regarding Observation 14265219

the trace follow the red line (local noise / terestrial signal), ~but its not noise. its from satellite.~

update:
its noise from local, not satellite

Let me start with the question why you are sure it’s from satellite.
Then let me tell I have heard diddles and beeps sometimes with close to zero doppler on 400 MHz but I am still assuming that’s from a harmonic of one of the oscillators in the receiver.

Why do I think that, well, they disappeared on the same antenna on an Icom 8600 receiver.

So my guess no satellite

i just compare with other obs… this is my mistake. you’re right. this is not from satellite. thanks ben @pe2bz

i unplug the rtl-sdr and check the waterfall using sdr++. this is continuous noise signal from terestrial.

im wondering similiar noise also found on this freq, on many gs around the world, with same pattern.

that should be something different that make 8600 better than rtl-sdr.

73!

what do you think about this obs

seen like good signal from trans? (below picture, same path with the red line)
