Observation 852719: PSAT-2 (99969)

Regarding Observation 852719
Is it possible to update the drifted frequency of PSAT-2 in the SATnogs database?
In the last days (atl least 5), we are not able to decode in the audio any data, due to increased frequency drift, from the spectrograms it looks like it moved additional 8-15kHz, so adding approx. 10kHz to used frequency of 435.354MHz would help to improve the yield of decoded tlm frames/SSTV pictures drastically. Therefore I would suggest new drifted frequency 435.364MHz. Thank you very much.

The sat seems to drift in frequency quite often - my station made an observation (https://network.satnogs.org/observations/858095/) about 15 hours later and it was only about ~1kHz out. You can see another sat working fine on that station here - https://network.satnogs.org/observations/855893/

In any case - IQ files for my station are here -> https://satnogs-iq.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com

You are right, just the position of the freq drift moved from your, to other locations. I have downloaded all IQ data available from you and decoded some frames from it, thank you. If you do not have any use for the recordings, you can delete all up to observation 850523.

Hi, can you please continue to archive the IQ data? If you have problems with storage, we can provide an FTP server or other means. It is very valuable to us. Automatic delete of older data (3-5days would be optimal). Even the scripts for it probably can be found.(other station allows us to download data through FTP server also so I can ask them for advice).

My stations (vk4xss) should continue to upload to above s3 bucket and believe vk5qi stations are doing the same.

Yes, station #232 is still uploading IQ data to AWS, though my other stations are not. I’ve just scheduled a few PSAT-2 passes on 232.

Just a quick note on my stations, keep in mind that the connection is limited, so it may take 2 or more hours before it’s successfully uploaded.

OK, the timing is not a problem, I was just monitoring the page https://satnogs-iq.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/
and it showed to me last observation ID 912547.raw, but when I now try to download the last reception of
[ 692 - VK4XSS-70 ] which is ID 967237, I get it with https://satnogs-iq.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com/967237.raw
So the list of observations is not updated, or too long probably?

Ah yeah, There is over 1000 keys in there so you’ll need to use the AWS S3 API if you want to list all items. EG in the CLI I use aws s3 ls s3://satnogs-iq to get the list - or just go directly to the observation if you know it’s ID.
