Observation 3988: UPSat (99999)

https://pad.hackerspace.gr/p/wod_4325

That signal on the water fall looks a bit odd. Or is that drift sort of normal?

In this case, yes. In some cases it would indicate a misconfiguration in ground station coordinates but in this case we are using the TLE for ISS from where this satellite launched from, and it is growing in distance every minute so this pass 2 days later shows some extra Doppler shift that we don’t account for (until we get TLEs published for upsat)

Cheers!

Check the battery and temperature on the last wod received. In one minute period they go crazy!

Not necessarily in chronological order though. I sorted them by time and graphed it out:

throughout that ~37 minute period the cumulative amperage readings were -6, which I read the specs to understand as a discharge? (or is positive amperage reading discharge?)
