What could this be?

It is terrestrial, at least.

I agree, could be some kind of FMCW radar, maybe airborne from a radar-altimeter, so an airplane flying over the station, actively checking its height.

I doubt it. The signal is not typical of either a chirped (FMCW) or pulsed radar, and it’s very narrow bandwidth. For a FMCW radar, the range resolution is approximately c/(2*B), so in this case (generously estimating 5 kHz for the bandwidth), the range resolution would be 30km. Not very useful!

My guess it’s local noise generated from a switching supply or something similar.
