Does SPARROW provide any readable telemetry? The patterns seem to repeat themselves. Wasnt sure if gr-satellites decodes it though?
I plan on trying to send a DV DStar CQ CQ up hopefully next week while my SATNOGS station listens.

DK3WN’s decoder shows these telemetry data for the first packet of your mentioned observation.
Both satellites are in SAFE mode.
Don’t know if the DStar repeater will work.

Dang, thats kind of depressing. But I’ll give it a try or two this week and see what if anything happens. I literally just finished putting a Tram 1126B on the car for this. Next was to clean up and check the 7100 which hasnt been used in a little bit. I think I am going to have to brush up on that a bit first.
If anyone is around FN32 tomorrow, I will try a DV D-Star contact with D-Star Sparrow tomorrow on the 1400EST pass over FN32 @ 18:10:03UTC. Finally got the ICOM-7100 setup and and in the mobile.
You’ve already scheduled observations for your pass, perfect.

Thanks, I put it on the back burner and then noticed Sparrow made the “Satellites close to decaying” list. Not much time left.

Sparrow is already at ~ 250 km.
By the way, if Sparrow won’t work or after re-entry, you may also try its twin i-Sat.
Gave it a good effort today. Had around 8 or so SATNOGs near my location listen in. Not a whisper on any of them.
One thing I should have done is had one or two of them monitoring the telemetry downlink instead of voice. I started a bit before AOS and stayed calling after LOS just in case since it is likely getting less predictable.
Might try again if there is another good pass over my area, it was interesting. At a minimum I got GPredict running on my laptop and got used to using the Icom 7100 again.
