Observation 14530694: TISAT 1 (36799)

Regarding Observation 14530694 …Hello everyone,

I have successfully received the CW telemetry from TISAT 1 (Observation #14530694).

While I have confirmed the signal, I am currently looking for information regarding the frame structure or the decoding process for its telemetry data. If anyone has resources or documentation on how to interpret these CW packets, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.

Best regards, YUKIO NAKAMURA

On UHF the CW beacon structure is HI HI HI TISAT x where x stands for the temperature of the transmitter.

x F B K R H N T E I S A D M U 5 L
Temperature in °C -10 -5 0 +5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 60 65

On VHF it’s vvv HB9DE TISAT1 x

Dear Daniel,

Vielen Dank! Thank you very much for your kind and detailed explanation. I truly appreciate you sharing the telemetry decoding rule for TISAT 1.

It is fascinating to learn that the last character indicates the temperature of the transmitter. Now, I can interpret my observation data clearly thanks to your help.

Herzliche Grüße (Warm regards), YUKIO NAKAMURA JP7DVX
