Regarding Observation 14386731, first successful meteor decode my setup isn’t great its a turnstile with no reflector or balun, element thickness is slightly mismatched and i made the RG58 cable to long and there is a fly engraved into the cable

what i mean is that there is a bug not actually a fly now that i think about it but it is stuck to and maybe even in my cable because the bug has been there for a week but i think i may have overexaggerated when i said it was engraved into the cable

There’s now a need for rigorous testing, to evaluate the effectiveness of bugs on the transmission lines, and if so, whats the optimal number of bugs-per-meter to maximize the SNR…
So much work to do…

Typically no bugs are preferred but you can have 1 or 2 if you want to add some decoration.
