Regarding Observation 14238623 … Hello everyone! :blush:

This observation comes from ffzero, my tiny and very new station located on Réunion Island in the Indian Ocean.

Today was actually the first day of life for the station, and after a lot of blue waterfalls, gain adjustments and antenna experiments, seeing a real signal feels pretty special!

I’m still learning, so any advice, comments or suggestions are welcome. I’m happy to be part of the SatNOGS community and looking forward to contributing, even in a modest way.

Congratulations for your first receptions and thank you for your setup, especially in an area that we don’t have a coverage.

From a quick check, the results are very promising. I let the others who are more familiar to say more.

Thanks for scheduling ISS and several Meteor passes on my very first day on SatNOGS. :blush:

As I said, ffzero is a tiny new station located on Réunion Island, and I would probably have missed the ISS pass without you.

I’m using an old Raspberry Pi 3 and a very modest V antenna, everything installed on my balcony. Nothing fancy, but if it can already contribute a little, I’m happy. :blush:

At first I thought it was only noise, but I can actually hear some beeps in the recording!

Still learning, but happy to contribute.

your setup almost same with my station - 4330. using a diy v-dipole (VHF) , that made from aluminium clothes hanger. this antenna very good to capture signal from high pass sat. taking picture from weather sat like meteor is very good.
