Trying to dial in our Pluto SDR - here are 2 obs on the same coax looking at same sat. Using a splitter.
6996 is on a RTL-SDR and 6999 is on the Pluto. Pretty big difference …Am starting to raise gain on the Pluto but am also bothered by the signal offset. Any suggestion to get the Pluto to deliver RTL-SDR type results.

Regarding the RX, let me be honest, I am not a big Pluto fan when it comes to weak signal reception with this device, for some on the desk TX/RX experiments it seems fine but a stock model it won’t be a good match when trying to receive weak signals.
Maybe with some external band pass filtering and a good low noise LNA you will be able to get decent result.
