Regarding Observation 128245 …
Good signal but not CW?
Jup. Seems to be the
GFSK19k2
frequency.
Some satellites transmit CW through FM. I don’t know if that’s the case here or just a broken transmitter that splatters, but the audio does sound like some CW keying is going on.
It is CW. You can check previous observations where the drifted transmitter is selected and the signal is more centered and audible.
For example check observation 126845 which repeats “ta1ks itupsat hr
”.
EDIT: and I’ve just realized that the drifted one is for GFSK19k2. We need to add a new transmitter for drifted CW too in https://db.satnogs.org/satellite/35935/. Feel free to suggest it.
Regarding Observation 144850 …Many of these 19k2 are actually FM CW decoded by Corey’s station 2 during this pass https://network.satnogs.org/observations/144008/
