This is my first apparently successful observation on 70 cm using a UHF turnstyle built from PVC sewer/drain pipe and an RTL-SDR with no LNA. I’m amazed that it decoded
the telemetry. Is BUGSAT-1 an easy one?
According to Mike Rupprect’s web page on BUGSAT-1 the comms sub-system gets
780mW of prime power. Can anyone comment on what the RF ERP is?
